We stayed at Casa Valerio for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the ferry and close to the station and city center. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, even providing a tour and pick-up from the port. The apartment was spacious with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, making it ideal for 2 couples. We also appreciated the strong WiFi and the convenience of having an ATM and mini market across the road. it was a great value for money and we would definitely return.

Had a great time staying at this place, just a short walk to the train station, a convenience store, and the lake. The city center and train station were also nearby. Absolutely no complaints, it was hard to leave! Already missing it 😊.

The upstairs of the apartment got quite warm, even with the fan and air conditioning running. The couch was too soft and the beds upstairs were very firm, which may not be suitable for everyone.

valerio and his father were amazing hosts, meeting us at the ferry and walking us to the apartment. the spacious apartment had everything we needed, was comfortable, and in a great location near the train station and lake. their hospitality exceeded our previous stay in varenna.

For the price we paid, Casa Valerio was a steal. The room was great and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the ferry, train station, and town center. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality and recommendations.
